Abstract

This resource contains python code to extract retrospective data from the National Water Model as well as some example data extracted using the code stored as .csv files and .parquet files.

The .csv file is the output with calculated return periods, the .parquet file is all of the retrospective streamflow for each input reach_id. The outputs were generated from the second function in the code: getnwmretrospective_streamflow_metrics.
